2.What is an IMEI number?

IMEI is a 15 number "registration number" of a mobile phone. You can get it out of the phone by typing *#06# into the phone or by taking the battery out of the phone and looking on the label underneath.

3. What should I send?

We would like to keep things simple. For used phones, we just need the handset with its battery. For new phones, we would need original box with all accessories. Just let us know if you have one.

4. How can I determine if my phone is working or non-working?

A working phone has to switch on, have no water damage, an undamaged screen and has original battery fitted. A non-working phone Each mobile phone should include its battery (you can keep memory card, charger, etc) and be intact - not crushed or snapped in half Non-Working examples: Broken / bleeding LCD (screen), No power up, Speaker / Mic faults, Broken aerial, etc. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more info.

5. Do you buy new phones?

Yes! Brand New Boxed phones are paid a lot higher than working; just let us know if you want to sell a brand new boxed phone. We will offer you a very competitive price for it! Brand new boxed phones should have all accessories and in original box. If not, then don’t worry, we still buy them.

We will return your mobile phones free of charge if you've changed your mind. You must tell us within 48 hours of your order submission.

8. Freepost and postage?

We will send you an email on the day your phone arrives. Our freepost service should take 2-3 working days to be delivered to us. On some occasions the Royal Mail can unfortunately take up to 15 working days to deliver. For phones of value over £41, we strongly recommend you use Special Delivery from a Post Office, which will ensure cover of your phone in the event of loss up to £500. If we have not received your phone within 15 working days then it may possibly be lost in the post. In order to make a claim you will need to contact the Royal Mail on 08457 740740 or visit www.royalmail.com for more information. When do I get paid? The really important bit. Once we have received and checked your phones we promise to post you payment within 2-5 days.

9. What happens if my phone is lost in the post?

When you place the order and on the sales pack you get you are told to get at least a proof of posting or pay a little bit towards getting the items sent by recorded / special delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery of phones. So if a phone has been lost in the post after we have explained how to avoid this then I am afraid we are unable to pay you for any phone not arrived.

10. What happens if stolen mobile phones are sent in?

We check all received phones via CheckMEND, a crime protection database, to ensure that phones are not barred or registered stolen. If a mobile phone sent in to us turns out to be stolen or the subject of an investigation we will hand these items over to the police and no payment will be issued for such goods.
